I’m attempting to wean myself off Facebook, having totally dumped the TwiXter. There is still an option to post items to eLon’s moron machine, but I’m trying to change that.
My day-to-day go-to is now Bluesky. It’s a far more civilised medium than Tw*tter ever was. You determine your own algorithms just by usage and making your own security and moderation settings. You can just block anyone you don’t like, and you will never ever beware of their existence again. You can even be an elected official and block people who ask inconvenient questions…. Oh yes…😎
